Introducing VeriWatt’s Public Service Program for Missouri State Businesses through Partnership with MCED.

VeriWatt Public Service Program

VeriWatt’s new program and partnership will help more Missouri businesses go solar.

The new Public Service Program is an innovative collaboration with the Missouri Clean Energy District (MCED), aimed at businesses in the state of Missouri. The program provides no-cost Energy Audits and Feasibility Studies for businesses, with the goal of providing valuable insights into commercial energy usage.

“With these key insights, business owners are better informed to explore the feasibility of renewable energy solutions, specifically for commercial locations,” said Shawn Roberts, CEO of VeriWatt. “We’re excited to help businesses make smarter decisions about solar energy and discover energy-creating solutions for Missouri communities.”

As the Federal Governing body for the state regarding USDA funds and renewable energy initiatives, MCED has tasked VeriWatt with gaining insight into how businesses within USDA-qualified areas in Missouri use electric energy. VeriWatt is actively compiling a list of companies located in these rural areas, providing businesses with the option to either opt-in or opt-out of the program.

For businesses that choose to opt in, VeriWatt conducts Energy Audits & Feasibility Studies at no cost to them. The expenses for these studies are fully covered by MCED.

“Typically ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, these studies aim to assess the feasibility of integrating renewable energy solutions, particularly solar, into a business’s operations,” said Jeremy Brookman, director of marketing for VeriWatt. “These are valuable, data-driven reports with key analyses using state-of-the-art technology. Our engineers then translate that data into summaries that help decision makers navigate their energy costs and property investment.”

Participating businesses are required to provide a 12-month energy usage report, which serves as the basis for the Energy Audits & Feasibility Studies. Once the usage report is received, VeriWatt initiates the study process, delivering comprehensive insights and recommendations tailored to each business’s unique energy needs.

Through this program, VeriWatt strives to help businesses optimize their energy usage, reduce costs, increase sustainability, and contribute to a greener future. The collaboration with MCED ensures that businesses have access to these valuable resources and guidance without any financial burden.

“At VeriWatt, we believe in impartial, objective, and transparent information about solar energy for those considering a more sustainable future,” said Roberts. “We’re proud to partner with Missouri Green Bank and MCED to help more businesses get the facts about solar. When we know better, together, we do better.”

For Missouri state businesses interested in exploring energy optimization and renewable energy solutions, VeriWatt’s Public Service Program offers an exceptional opportunity to gain insights and make informed decisions toward a more sustainable and efficient energy future.
